What can I do for you?

Three typical starting points – and what you get from me in each case.

Websites & Online Shops

Your website is outdated, a site builder has reached its limits or your shop needs custom adjustments?

You get a modern, fast website or a Shopware shop – search-engine friendly, mobile-ready and built so later extensions don't mean starting over.

Custom Software & Automation

Excel lists, paperwork or data copied between systems by hand – costing time and producing errors?

You get an application that fits your processes exactly, or an automation that takes over routine work – documented, tested and traceable.

Clubs & Events

Registrations by e-mail, participant lists by hand, newsletters via third-party services – and everything depends on one person?

You get registration systems, event websites and self-hosted tools such as newsletters or cloud storage – proven at a unicycling world championship with an international audience.

Why IT Hummel

Direct Point of Contact

You talk directly to the developer – clear communication, honest estimates, no detours via project managers.

Clean Architecture

Current stack, well-thought-out structure, maintainable code – with version control, tests and documentation. That makes every later extension easier.

Long-term Support

Maintenance and further development beyond launch – solutions that grow with your business instead of becoming outdated.

How the collaboration starts

Four steps from the first message to ongoing operations – you always know what happens next.

  1. First Contact

You describe your needs informally via the form or e-mail. I get back to you and we clarify the essentials in a non-binding conversation.

  2. Concept & Proposal

You receive an understandable concept with a realistic effort estimate – so you decide on a clear basis.

  3. Implementation

Iterative development with regularly visible progress. You give feedback before anything heads in the wrong direction.

  4. Operations & Support

After acceptance I take over operations, maintenance and further development on request – or hand over to your team in an orderly way.

More about me

Common questions before starting

Brief answers to what many people want to know before their first inquiry.

What does a project cost?

It depends on the scope: a compact website costs considerably less than a custom application with integrations. After the initial conversation you receive a comprehensible effort estimate – before implementation, without hidden items. The decisive factors are functionality, content and the desired level of support.

How long does implementation take?

The duration depends on scope and coordination effort. The concept includes a realistic estimate with milestones – so you can see progress and plan ahead.

What do I need to contribute?

Mainly your knowledge of your processes and content: texts, images and feedback on interim versions. I take care of the technical work – and explain decisions so you can follow them without an IT background.

Can I maintain content myself later?

Yes – if desired, this is planned from the start, for example via a content management system such as Shopware or a simple administration interface. Alternatively I handle changes as part of ongoing support.

Do you also take over existing websites or systems?

Yes. After a technical assessment I tell you honestly whether further development makes sense or whether a rebuild means less effort in the long run.

Tell me about your project.

Write me briefly what it's about – you'll receive an honest assessment of whether and how I can help. Non-binding and without jargon.
