Event & Registration Systems
Online registrations for events and clubs – reliable, multilingual and stable even under load.
The Starting Point
Registrations via e-mail or paper lists quickly become confusing: duplicate entries, exceeded participant limits, missing confirmations. Generic form tools reach their limits as soon as limits, waves, multilingualism or special processes are required.
The Solution
I develop registration applications tailored to your event: with participant limits, a clear registration process, confirmations and a multilingual interface. I proved this in practice with the registration application for the unicycle triathlon at UNICON 22 – including participant limit and multilingual interface in real event operations.
Typical Use Cases
- Online registration for sports and club events with participant limits
- Registration processes for workshops, courses and participation formats
- Participant management with confirmation e-mails
- Multilingual registration flows for international events
Approach
- Define event flow and registration logic together
- Implement registration form, limits and confirmations
- Test the complete registration process before launch
- Support during the registration phase
- Evaluation and export of participant data
Who It Is For – and What You Contribute
For clubs, associations and event organisers that want to handle registrations digitally and traceably. You define the flow, limits and deadlines; I implement the registration process and accompany the registration phase.
An Honest Assessment
For simple registrations without limits or special processes, an established form tool may be enough. A custom application pays off when participant limits, waves, multilingualism or special processes have to work reliably.
Technologies Used
- PHP / Laravel
- MySQL / MariaDB
- Multilingual interfaces
- E-mail delivery
- Linux servers
Your Benefit
A registration process that simply works for participants and keeps organisers in control at all times – without paperwork and with server-side participant limits.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the system work with many simultaneous registrations?
The implementation is designed for this: participant limits are checked server-side so places are not assigned twice even with simultaneous registrations. I test the complete registration process before launch.
Can registrations be offered in multiple languages?
Yes. I implemented multilingual interfaces, among others, in the registration application for UNICON 22.
What about data protection for participant data?
Participant data is collected sparingly, transmitted securely (SSL/TLS) and deleted or handed over after the event as agreed. Data protection responsibilities and documentation are coordinated together.
